Quick guide
Convert Word DOCX to PDF with Preview and Page Selection
Open a DOCX in your browser to preview it before creating a PDF. Select all, odd, even or custom pages, or click page previews individually. The output is a clear image of each visible page, suitable for sharing or printing when searchable text is not required.
What this tool does
- Review headers, footers, tables, images and page breaks before converting.
- Select all, odd, even or custom pages with three quality levels.
- Supports DOCX up to 50 MB, 250 MB expanded data and 100 pages.
- Read the DOCX and create the PDF one page at a time on your device without uploading the document to the VPS.
How to use Word to PDF
- 1Choose a DOCX and wait for size checks and the preview. Legacy .doc files are not supported.
- 2Check fonts, tables, images and page breaks, then select pages and a quality level.
- 3Create the PDF, open it and inspect every page. Keep the original DOCX if text may need editing later.
Frequently asked questions
Are older .doc files supported?
Only standard DOCX files are supported. For a legacy .doc file, open it in Microsoft Word or another trusted application and save it as DOCX first.
Can I search and select text in the output PDF?
No. This tool captures each preview page as an image and assembles those images into a PDF. Text, links, bookmarks and accessibility tags therefore do not work. Export directly from Microsoft Word when those features are required.
Will it look the same as Microsoft Word in every way?
Exact fidelity is not guaranteed because a browser is not the Word layout engine. Missing fonts, WordArt, charts, text boxes, equations, macros and complex pagination may differ, so inspect both the preview and downloaded PDF.
How do I select only certain pages?
Choose All, Odd or Even, type a range such as 1-3, 5, or click page previews. Selected pages are outlined and excluded pages are dimmed.
Why are files limited to 50 MB and 100 pages?
DOCX is a compressed format and embedded images can use much more memory than the file size. The tool checks archive entries, limits expanded data to 250 MB and caps pages to protect the browser tab, then creates the PDF one page at a time.
Is the PDF sent to or stored on the VPS?
No. Your browser reads, lays out and captures the DOCX and creates the PDF locally. The VPS only serves the page, scripts, fonts and libraries; it does not receive, store or process document content.
