Quick guide
Create Free QR Codes for Links, Wi‑Fi, Text, Phone, Email and SMS
Create a free static QR code without signing up. Encode a website, text, phone number, email, SMS or Wi‑Fi details, then choose the size, colors, error correction and quiet zone. Everything is generated in your browser and is not sent to the VPS for processing.
What this tool does
- Choose from six content types on one page.
- Set the quiet zone in QR modules and catch hard-to-scan color choices before generation.
- Download a 300, 500 or 800 pixel PNG and test-scan it immediately.
How to use QR Code Generator
- 1Choose the content type, then enter a link, text, phone number, email, SMS, or Wi‑Fi name and password.
- 2Use a dark code on a light background, keep the standard four-module quiet zone and use Level M for general work.
- 3Generate and download the PNG, then scan it with a real phone before printing or publishing.
Frequently asked questions
Does the generated QR code expire?
This page creates a static QR code that does not depend on a PDFdee redirect, so the code itself does not expire. Its destination must remain available, and a Wi‑Fi QR must be recreated when the network name or password changes.
Are my data and Wi‑Fi password sent to the VPS?
No. The data is converted into a QR code in this device's browser. The VPS only serves the page and scripts; it does not use VPS CPU or memory to process what you enter.
How do the quiet zone and Levels M, Q, H and L differ?
The quiet zone separates the QR pattern from its surroundings and should be at least four modules wide. Higher levels can restore more data when the image is dirty or damaged, but make the pattern denser. Level M suits general use.
Why is generation blocked when the colors are too similar?
Similar colors or a code lighter than its background may not scan reliably, so the tool asks for a clearly darker code on a lighter background.
Should I test before printing?
Download and scan the image with real phones at the intended viewing distance. Do not crop the quiet zone, and verify that the correct link, phone number, email or Wi‑Fi network opens.
