Frequently asked questions

Do PDF text, links and forms remain interactive?

No. Each page becomes a flat image: text is no longer selectable, and links and form fields do not work. Use OCR if you need text, then verify the result.

Should I choose JPG, PNG, or WebP?

JPG suits photos and smaller files. PNG suits crisp text, logos and lines. WebP suits modern websites and apps, but check that the destination supports it.

Does a width of 3,000 pixels equal 300 DPI?

Not necessarily. DPI depends on both pixel count and physical print size. This tool sets pixel width and preserves page proportions, so inspect the image at its intended size before printing.

How many files and pages are supported?

Each run supports up to 10 PDFs, 200 MB per file and 500 MB total, with up to 100 output pages and 250 MB of images to prevent excessive browser memory use.

Can I stop and keep the images already completed?

Yes. Stop after the current page and keep completed images for individual download or ZIP. The result is clearly marked as stopped, not fully completed.

Why is the ZIP built only after I request it?

Creating a ZIP needs extra memory, so the tool does not make an immediate archive copy. It builds the ZIP on your device only when requested.

Are PDFs or images sent to the VPS?

No. PDF loading, page rendering, image creation and ZIP generation happen in the browser. The VPS uses CPU, RAM, disk and network only to serve page files; it does not receive or process document content.
