Quick guide
Convert PDF to Excel or Excel to PDF with a Preview
Extract the text layer and tables from selected PDF pages into XLSX, or lay out Excel worksheet values as a readable PDF. Choose pages, sheets, orientation and repeating headers, with clear limitations for scanned PDFs and complex tables.
What this tool does
- Choose up to 100 PDF pages per run and split pages into worksheets.
- Preview the data and choose the worksheet, orientation and repeating header before creating a file.
- Files are processed with CPU and RAM on your device; the VPS does not receive or process document content.
How to use PDF ↔ Excel
- 1Choose PDF → Excel or Excel → PDF, then open a file within the limits.
- 2Set the pages, worksheet, orientation or repeating header, then review the data preview.
- 3Create the file. If needed, stop safely after the current page, then review and download the result.
Frequently asked questions
How is a text PDF different from a scanned PDF?
A text PDF lets you select or search its characters, so this tool can read the text layer and group content by position. A scanned PDF contains images and needs OCR before its text can be extracted to Excel.
Will every PDF table cell match the original?
Not necessarily. The tool groups text by page position and works best with clear rows and columns. Compare nested tables, merged cells, rotated text and multi-column layouts with the original.
Will formulas, images and Excel formatting remain in the PDF?
The PDF shows readable cell values. It does not preserve editable formulas, images, merged cells or all original formatting, so keep the source XLSX file.
Why are pages, rows and columns limited?
Reading and creation happen in the browser. The limits of 100 PDF pages per run and 2,000 rows × 24 columns per worksheet help prevent a frozen tab or excessive device memory use; they are not Excel format limits.
Are files sent to the VPS for processing?
No. Your browser reads the PDF or XLSX and creates the result with your device CPU and RAM. The VPS only serves the page and scripts; it does not receive, store or process document content.
